In Dublin California working within environment of a 70s developed Contemporary Catholic sanctuary we are asked to develop the master plan of improvements which would transform interior space into something that spoke in a more appropriate sacred space sense to the congregants/participants of the liturgy and sacraments. Our work his occurred over a number of years and has progressed systematically from minimal levels of intervention to the current phase which includes a brand new interior color scheme along with an Altar Piece / Reredos with a new background mosaic as a focal point, while the work was designed by CJK Sacred Space, it was carved in the island of Crete by the Loykakis studio.
