The St Spyridon Family Center has been a dream of the Parish for many years. To make this dream a reality, CJK Design has transformed their existing facilities by adding a new education wing and completely renovating the interior of the dated and cramped hall.
Part of the overall plan involves creating a new welcoming entrance plaza, renovation of the lobby and other facilities and retrofitting the building for HVAC efficiency.
Part of the challenge was to unify designs, colors and materials from different eras of the Parish to allow it to like it belongs to the whole.
We worked closely with the church leadership to develop complex needs and context into a workable solution.
