The Community Center works within a grouping of buildings that also include the church, and bell tower set on a scenic hillside overlooking San Pablo Bay. The plan for the 10,000+ square foot, $1.2M Multi-Purpose Cultural, Meeting and Recreation Center includes a large, open trussed hall (akin to the Greek village hall), a full kitchen and storage along with a 4,500 sq. ft. fully daylit lower level expansion. The hall boasts generous windows with beautiful panoramic views, a functional stage alcove and subtle lighting.

The evocative design and planning reflects a Greek Village/ Hillside Island Architecture yet feels at home in this area where Spanish mission-style constructions are prevalent. The welcoming plazas extend the hospitality outdoors and the carefully planned terraces afford terrific views of the hills and the bay.
