The Diocesan Center serves the spiritual and administrative needs of the Greek Orthodox Diocese of Denver whose jurisdiction of 47 parishes spans 14 western mountain and central plain states. An overall master plan was developed in a complementary manner for both the Cathedral and Diocese Facilities, providing a spiritual landmark on a promontory overlooking the city of Denver and the Rockies.
The Center is a 17,000 sq. ft. building with 10,000 sq. ft. on the main upper level which includes the great hall, the chapel, the meeting rooms, the library and the youth, education, choir and Philoptochos offices. Another 7,000 sq. ft. on the lower level include meeting rooms and hierarchical quarters.

This new Metropolis Center combines the aesthetics and functionality of the Byzantine tradition of the Churches of northern Greece with the feel, style and colors of the Rocky Mountains. The interior space is developed with refined Byzantine details juxtaposed with a Rocky Mountain sensibility featuring expressive wood beams, open floor plans and natural marble and wood floors. The facility opened in November of 2003.
